Digital Strategy & Capabilities: Why Now?

Emerging technologies are empowering shoppers and disrupting traditional business models, challenging retailers and brand owners to develop new strategies and adapt to a networked value chain. In the US, e-commerce sales are growing at 4x the rate of store-based retail, and Amazon's growth rate, which is already growing at 2x that of e-commerce, is accelerating. By 2020, RNG expects online sales growth to surpass in-store sales growth.

The Digital Group Experience

RNG's Digital Group is a membership-based community dedicated to accelerating the development of e-commerce and digital marketing competencies in Fortune 500 CPG companies. Members receive:

  • Constant immersion in the strategic questions surrounding e-commerce
  • Concrete direction on where Amazon, Walmart, and other key retailers are headed
  • Clarity on where to play and how to win
  • The rules of engagement for doing business with digital retailers
  • Clear pathways to developing and implementing critical capabilities
  • Lessons learned and how to avoid others' mistakes
  • Global perspective with an emphasis on the US/North America
  • Networking opportunities with leading retailers and technology innovators

Sponsoring members must have headquarters P&L responsibility or significant decision rights related to e-commerce or digital marketing and are expected to attend most meetings.
