Home Depot recently opened a new “superstore” in Anaheim, CA, that is almost double the size of a standard Home Depot store and features expanded departments, educational signage and videos to help shoppers master a variety of “do-it-yourself” projects. However, the expanded selling space means that the retailer must work to make the store as easy to navigate as possible. To do this, Home Depot has integrated technological elements like touchscreens and QR codes into the store experience.
