The UK’s largest drugstore chain Boots has opened the doors to its brand new store concept in London’s Covent Garden. The 2,650 sq m store, which is set over two floors, boasts a number of new features including an expanded wellness hall, the latest cult brands such as Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty line, prescription lockers and interactive digital education. Social media stations are also integrated throughout the store - such as the ‘Instagram wall’ pictured here – to encourage shoppers to share their store experiences and drive engagement across social media. In the Boots beauty hall, shoppers can experiment with leading brands, many of which feature interactive educational displays to help shoppers make personalized product selections. Shoppers can also visit the Boots Beauty Studio - a make-up station with beauty professionals - to receive makeovers and expert advice. The retailer has also unveiled a new look to its pharmacy section, with self-serve lockers where shoppers can collect their prescriptions without visiting the checkout counter, as well as fast-track lanes for express prescription pick-up.
