Target reopened 8 renovated stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth area as part of a $220 million investment to remodel stores in that area. While these stores are not the fully reimagined stores announced earlier this year, the renovated stores still include some of the new updates featured of the Next Generation store design. Updates include new cross-product visual merchandising across various departments, a revamped grocery department with wood-grain fixtures and updated flooring and lighting, an order pickup counter, and additional self-checkout lanes.
