Russia’s Dixy Group has announced a pilot project to reconfigure one of the checkout lanes in its stores into a shop selling tobacco and premium alcohol. The project has been launched in 15 Dixy outlets in Moscow, and the retailer says that product sales in these pilot stores have increased by an average of 30%.
