Google offers Social Shopping Ads to Thai SMEs

In a bid to empower local SMEs to capitalise on ecommerce opportunities, which are expected to reach USD3 billion by 2025, Google Thailand is joining two Thai partners to introduce the Social Shopping Ads feature.

The move is intended to counter rising popularity of Facebook’s Ads and marketplace functions. Google, which partners with JD.com in Southeast Asia, is partnering with local developers to finesse the API to better appeal to Thailand’s ecommerce vendors.
