Kroger to pour USD97 million into renovations, new stores
Kroger has announced plans to invest USD97 million in Michigan, US throughout 2019. The retailer is planning to open a 124,000 sq ft superstore and fuel center, as well as a 103,000 sq ft store in Michigan. The planned superstore entails a total investment of USD35 million, while the 103,000 sq ft store will cost USD24 million. Additionally, a total of 11 Michigan stores will receive a face-lift. The retailer is also bringing Kroger Pickup to 20 Michigan stores.
