CVS Health to close 46 underperforming stores
CVS Health has revealed its plans to shutter 46 underperforming stores in the US. The move is part of the retailer’s broader plan to cut back on the number of retail products CVS stores sell and instead, add more in-store health care services. The closings represent a small percentage of CVS' stores, which totalled more than 9,900 stores as of 31 March 2019. The retailer said the planned closings would cost about USD135 million.
