McDonald’s scouts for a new partner in India

The RP Sanjiv Goenka Group and Moon Beverages are said to be in talks to run McDonald’s operations in north and east India as a dispute between the US fast-food chain’s local unit and estranged partner Vikram Bakshi draws to a close.  ‘The search for a developmental licensee is in progress. However, we do not currently have any updates to share,’ said Barry Sum, director, corporate relations Asia-Pacific, McDonald’s.
