Casino French hypermarkets expand non-food brand ‘corners’
Casino plans to increase the number of ‘corners’ in its French hypermarkets and has introduced various inserts with external partners in the past few months. The Group has tied up with specialized operators in the categories of jewelry, DIY, toys and fashion.
Apart from those already launched, two further third-party concessions are scheduled to open in May and the retailer is in talks with other brands. Casino has been utilizing corners in its Géant hypermarkets with its own banners like Cdiscount and, more recently, Le Drugstore Parisien since 2017. (French language)
