Aldi seeks to lead in European organic market

Aldi has ambitious plans in the organic food business. The discounter is already the market leader in the eco-segment in Germany. The retailer’s management has now decided to become the organic market leader in Europe. The expansion of the assortment, with more than 300 organic SKUs in total, is to be carried out via own brands and also through the listing of the traditional brand Schneekoppe. (German language)
